Josh Sink, Intern

Now accepting new clients

Feel like your world is falling apart? I can help with that.

You might remember a time when you didn’t feel stressed, tired, irritable, or on edge, but that may seem like a distant memory at this point. It might feel like you’ve been running on autopilot and drudging through your responsibilities like work or school, only growing more tired as you hope to catch a break. Wouldn’t it be great if you could get back to feeling like yourself again?

I can help you get there.

I’m Josh, and I’m a therapist in Duluth, GA. I help adults just like you: ones that have it within themselves to feel healthy and thriving again, but who just need some support to get there.

I help my clients find meaning and excitement in life again by giving them access to the tools they need to gain insight into themselves and others.

Often, solutions for problems like depression, anxiety, and trauma are one-size-fits-all, leading many to feel like they are not receiving personalized treatment. However, I know that your circumstances are unique, so every step we take will be tailored to you, always with an end goal in mind.

I am dedicated to helping people feel happier, more confident, and more fulfilled.

My training in clinical counseling means I have the expertise you need and deserve when looking for someone to help you cope with stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. It’s also understandable that you would want to know that you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to struggle with these issues, right?

As a first responder, I know what it is like to witness disturbing sights, work under stress, struggle with sleep, or fear for your own safety or that of a loved one. I also have a pretty good understanding of how people behave under stress or in crisis. So when we work together, you will be talking to someone who truly understands aspects of what you’re going through.

I also love coming alongside diverse and unique individuals to help them explore their own worldviews. If you have been experiencing worldview shifts that have left you wondering about meaning and your direction in life, I would be interested in helping you explore these issues. Often times these worldview shifts are prompted by trauma or crisis, but that is not always the case.

Many people experience stress and anxiety in the workplace, at family gatherings, or in public because of the visibility of their culture or religion. Growing up outside of the United States in Asia, I can especially relate to this. Religion and culture bring special conflict into our lives such as who and how to date, what kind of medical care to pursue, or how to dress.

We can better process our own worldviews in the presence of a willing, nonjudgmental listener. I am also no stranger to the complexity of religious, cultural, or spiritual problems and I’m here to listen to you and help you work through these issues.
